Class #1

I really found that thinkfinity to be useful in the classroom.  I experimented with it a bit in a bind in the computer lab one day. I was not real familiar until last week.  I went to school on Friday and made my kids go on the interactive sites.  My lower students really enjoyed the sorting games.  Some of my other students explored the site and found some really fun and interesting things that they were eager to share with their classmates.  I did also enjoy looking at the comic site.  I can vision my students use the site to make a comic of their favorite characters or to maybe make a comic of the most important parts of a story.  I could see my class not wanting to steer away from the site.

I am glad that you had an opportunity to try the interactive element of Thinkfinity. Hopefully, you can find some useful resources that will help in your lesson development. With your scavenger hunt, I really liked that you specifically identified Nettrekker as the search vehicle. With younger students, it is especially important to teach them how to search in preselected parts of the web - and not just let me free search. Well-planned.

Cool idea to let your students get on and take a look. I also found "thinfinity" to be really cool. Especially the interactive piece.

I am glad that you tested the interactives. I was thinking about doing that with my class. It is funny you mention the comic strip because that is the lesson I found on Thinkfinity to use. It is teaching kids how to write and make their own comic. There are many comic makers out there and I will have to check that one out.
